Legal assistant Maggie Granados joined Strickler, Platnick & Hatfield in 2024. She works closely with the firm’s attorneys, assisting them with all aspects of mediation, negotiation, litigation, and appeal preparation. A hard worker who pays close attention to detail, Maggie’s other responsibilities include communicating with clients, preparing documents, filing pleadings in court, calendar scheduling, and providing general administrative support.
Maggie is dedicated to ensuring every client feels heard and is treated with respect and empathy. She understands what people go through when facing a family law matter and strives to make the legal process more straightforward and less stressful for everyone. Always ready to help and share her knowledge, she appreciates being part of a legal team that truly cares about the clients they represent.
Maggie holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in criminal justice and sociology from Frostburg State University. Before joining the firm, Maggie worked in the court system for several years, where she began as a judicial clerk in the criminal juvenile department and moved up to lead courtroom clerk. Her background and insight allow her to be a valuable resource for both clients and her colleagues.
When she is not in the office, Maggie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as her dog, Fletcher, and two cats — Frankie and Finnegan. She also enjoys participating in trivia and neighborhood cornhole tournaments with her boyfriend, golfing, and cheering on the Capitals and Commanders.
