Celena Hernandez

Paralegal Celena Hernandez is the latest member of the team at Strickler, Platnick & Hatfield. An ambitious and motivated self-starter who is dedicated to helping others, her duties at the firm include providing support to the attorneys, organizing discovery responses, and keeping clients apprised of developments in their cases. She also assists with preparing legal documents, financial statements, calendar scheduling, and a variety of other tasks in the office.

Celena is proud to be part of a firm that values professionalism, creativity, and passion. She finds it rewarding to be able to bring clarity, calmness, and compassion to clients as they go through some of the most challenging times in their lives. Celena understands that a divorce or family law matter is not just a legal issue, but also an emotional one. Providing personal attention to each client, she cares about how their case affects them as a whole.

Celena holds an associate degree in criminal justice from Prince George’s Community College. She is currently working toward earning her Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Bowie State University. She brings several years of experience as a paralegal to the firm, and a background in assisting with criminal justice, immigration, and family law matters. Celena’s broad knowledge in these areas allows her to serve as an insightful and valuable member of the team.

Outside the office, Celena enjoys training for marathons, playing soccer, and going to the gym. She is a member of several running clubs and an active member of her church. Celena also likes coffee, trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her golden doodle, Benji.
